The viewers of this website are more than welcome to be an integral part of this noble and charitable work by contributing either their personal time with the kids or via monetary support. We expect our well-wishers and like minded people at the out set to visit our organization and observe the work we do in the interest of 300 orphan children and 80 senior citizens. Your visit will be a source of inspiration to the children of God. It will go a long way to shed the inferiority complex of being an orphan and will definitely infuse confidence in their mind. Hence, we sincerely request you to visit our organization as and when you are around Chennai, India.

Your can also contribute financially for the various schemes and projects mentioned below. 

  1. To sponsor a child for clothing, education, hospitalization costing a sum of Rs.1500/- to Rs.2000/- depending on the age group and academic class/grade.

  2. To sponsor a senior citizen for his/her maintenance, food, clothing and shelter costing a sum of Rs.2000/- per month. 

  3. To provide uniform, books, notebooks, educational requirements for the 300 inmates at the opening of the school in the month of June. The estimated cost of this project varies from the class in which a boy or girl is studying. Donor can donate any amount at their will for this project. 

  4. Festivals like Deepavali, Pongal, Ramzan, Bakrit, Christmas, Easter are all celebrated in the Ashram, without any communal disparity. Donors can contribute at their will for providing new cloths, crackers etc. to spend these functions with merry and joy. 

  5. Well-wishers can create specific endowment with the minimum amount Rs.1000/- and more. The amount will be deposited in a Nationalized Bank and the interest will be spent for the specific purpose and cause given by the donor. You can contribute endowment for sponsoring a child, senior citizens, providing books and notebooks, award for outstanding and meritorious children, for Deepavali, Christmas, Ramzan and other religious functions. There are even schemes that provide feast on a particular day of a year every year.   6. You can support our cause by subscription fees

    SUBSCRIPTION FEES:
    Individuals -Rs.50/-yearly 
    Companies, clubs & Industries -Rs.100/- yearly 

    LIFE MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION FEES:
    Individuals -Rs.500/- 
    Companies, clubs & Industries -Rs.1000/- 
    Patrons -Rs.5000/- 

  7. The donor can contribute donation by Annadhanam (Feast) on specific day(s), as per chart mentioned below.

    --) Towards the cost of ONE DAY MEALS including breakfast, lunch and dinner with Appalam. Sweet, Vada, etc. (Rs.10,000/- )
    --) Towards the cost of Lunch or Dinner (Rs.5,000/- )
    --) Towards the cost of breakfast only. (Rs.3,000/- )
    --) Towards providing Sweets (laddu, etc.) only (Rs.2,500/- )
    --) Towards providing Biscuits or Bun or toffees only (Rs.1,500/- )

  8. You can contribute for intelligent and aspiring students to continue their higher education including Professional Courses, Computer education, Polytechnic etc., to shape their future.

  9. Donors can always contribute any amount as general donation, which will be credited to the corpus account and will be used for the maintenance of the ashram kids and senior citizens. Check or Draft may be drawn in favor of "SIVANANDA SARASWATHI SEVASHRAM" - We accept direct checks from any foreign country too.

  10. In the modern internet world, the awareness among people increasing everyday, we realize the importance of spreading our message in the internet community too. As a bold step in this direction, we make many requests to our existing donors to not only promote this website but also to host our banners in their website. If you happen to host a website of your own or happen to know someone who hosts a website, we take this opportunity to request you to host one of the following banners in the same. This internet promotional effort is certainly considered to be one of the major mode of contribution for us and we certainly believe that your help in this regard will go a long way in shaping up a good career for our entire Sivananda family at Chennai, India.

         

Please Note: We always take conscious efforts to maintain our administrative costs at the lowest level. In other words, we ensure that our donors' hard-earned money is 90% spent on the specific cause and the remaining 10% on the administrative costs. 

MONEY ACCEPTED FROM WELL-WISHERS WILL BE SPENT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE WELFARE OF OUR ORPHAN CHILDREN AND SENIOR CITIZENS .
