Dr. S. Rajaram - Honorary Correspondent ......or more affectionately called as "Anna" (Brother) and "Akka" (Sister) by 300+ voices within our ashram premises. Dr. Rajaram and Mrs. Lakshmi Rajaram are the key personalities behind this institution's success in the past two decades. Dr. S. RAJARAM who was then only 19 years old was bestowed this responsibility after his parents/founders' demise in 1974 and took over the enormous task of managing this organization accompanied by his wife MRS. LAKSHMI RAJARAM. Dr. Rajaram is a commerce graduate and Mrs. Lakshmi Rajaram is a post graduate degree holder in Philosophy. Both got their education from MADRAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE in Chennai, India. It was their sincerity & dedication that motivated to work hard, to mobilize public opinions, raise resources, and undertake projects for the growth of this establishment. Since 1974 when they started managing the affairs of this orphanage, both have contributed very significantly in various departments towards the growth of this organization. Due to their initiative, sincerity and involvement, today the orphanage has its own buildings and infrastructure that can maintain a big family of more than 400 human beings of all ages. Dr. S. Rajaram created an awareness among the public to involve themselves in festivals like Deepavali, Christmas, Ramzan, Pongal etc., by not only helping financially, but also by showing love and affection. His efforts paved the way for giving new life to thousands of orphans and destitute women who are being rehabilitated every year with the sense of gratitude. Apart from these activities, Dr. S. Rajaram is also employed with State Bank of Patiala as Assistant Manager, which is noteworthy. Besides these two key leaders, the institution is also backed by a trust/committee involving expert opinions from the leading entrepreneurs and various professionals in our society at all times. Home
